In the National Park "Weerribben - Wieden" is our vacation apartment near Sint-Jansklooster. It is a 2-person indoor apartment, recently renovated, and fully equipped. There is a private entrance and the apartment is closed from the main building so you have complete privacy. There is a double bed that can also be set up as two single beds. It also has Wifi, TV, radio, separate kitchen with fridge/freezer, induction hob, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. The bathroom area has a rain shower and has a washing machine. On the terrace in front of the apartment you can watch the sun set behind the reed beds in the evening. You can use the two available canoes or sup's free of charge. In consultation and with some experience you can also rent a surfboard and/or a sail-/motor-punter.

Enjoy the peace and quiet and nature in the immediate vicinity. The visitor center "de Wieden" is within walking distance, and from there you can make beautiful (educational) walks through the reed land and along the banks of the Beulakerwijde. A bicycle-boat cab takes you from here to Blokzijl and Giethoorn. An extensive network of cycling nodes takes you to other places like Muggenbeet, Jonen, Dwarsgracht, Holland and Kalenberg. If you are more of a water sportsman, you might prefer to discover the ditches and canals between the vast reed lands with a canoe or a supboard. For this there are several routes for beginners to advanced....... or would you rather go on the big lake? The Beulakerwijde lies at your feet........ or visit one of the picturesque Zuiderzee-towns like Vollenhove or Blokzijl? .....and Giethoorn is of course not to be missed. A short (car) distance away you will also find, for example, the Waterloopbos, the Orchideeënhoeve and National Park Dwingelderveld. .....etc, etc
