The gite can accommodate up to 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. Two bedrooms have a double bed (140x200cm) and 1 bedroom has 2x single beds (90x200cm). Two bedrooms overlook the river. The kitchen/living room is cozy and has a wood stove. The kitchen has a fridge, gas stove, gas oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and washing machine. A bbq is in front of the cottage.Electric heating is available both in the bedrooms and in the living room.There is WIFI in the gite.Your friendly four-legged friend is welcome (after consultation).The place has an (unheated) swimming pool with sun terrace, located next to the river. Next to the pool is a small bar where drinks can be ordered. Real adventurers can take a splash in the gently flowing, shallow part of the river. Wonderfully refreshing on a hot summer day. Welcome to the Creuse, in the beautiful Limousin region. A region where the air is clean and pure. Moulin de Sansonnèche is an old wool mill, beautifully situated in the middle of a forest by a small river. Deer, wild boar, foxes and birds of prey are regularly spotted here. Even a curious badger or marten will sometimes show his nose. From the gite you can walk straight up through the forest to the village of Gioux. About 10 minutes drive from the mill is the charming town of Felletin, where every Friday morning a market is held in the center. A 20-minute drive away is the town of Aubusson, whose carpet industry was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2009. About a half-hour drive away is Lac de Vassivière, one of the largest lakes in France with beautiful sandy beaches. It lends itself perfectly to a day on the water; windsurfing, canoeing, renting a boat or sunbathing...it's all possible there.
