The Garden Room is a luxurious and charming guesthouse in Kleinhoef, an 1875 farmhouse in the polder along the Vecht River. Besides the spacious bedroom with bathroom, you have the bright conservatory as your living room. It is an ideal place to unwind amidst the greenery along the river. Kleinhoef is also a good starting point for trips to Amsterdam and Utrecht, and for walking or cycling through the Dutch landscape. From the hallway you walk up the stairs into the upstairs room. In the spacious bedroom with the wooden ceiling is a lovely king-size bed. You will also find a sink, a comfortable shower and a separate toilet. The adjacent conservatory offers a view over the meadows. You can sit here in the sun early in the morning. Through the double doors you get to your private terrace in the garden. Around New Year's Eve dogs are allowed.

The farm is located on a country road on the river De Vecht. There is a private jetty with a wooden swimming ladder at the river and it is wonderfully safe and clean swimming water. Furthermore, Kleinhoef is located all around free in the meadows. With a little luck you will see the kingfisher shooting across the ditch, hear the tawny owl or long-eared owl chicks or even see the ermine in the wild garden. A walk along the river Vecht and across the Liniebrug will take you to Fort Nigtevecht and the old polders of the Dutch waterline. By bike you can easily reach the Loosdrecht lakes. The Gein is also nearby, with the beautiful Botshol on the other side of Abcoude. To the north you will find the Naardermeer, a nature reserve owned by Natuurmonumenten.
