Dear guests, our completely wooden log cabin is located in a quiet side street (dead end) directly at the Harz National Park not far from the Brocken. It is comfortably furnished like a modern apartment or vacation home and you can live there comfortably and relax. You can drink coffee on the large balcony or take a nap in a deckchair after a hike. The vacation home in Altenau is a log cabin made entirely of wood with a very special atmosphere. It is suitable for allergy sufferers. Unfortunately, your pet cannot come with you.

The tennis courts and cross-country ski trails are in the immediate vicinity of the vacation home. It is an ideal starting point for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing or skiing. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort, you should spend a vacation in our vacation home in Altenau. In the immediate vicinity is the new UNESCO World Heritage Site, the "Oberharzer Wasserregal", which consists of numerous man-made ditches and ponds from the 17th century. You can also reach the district of Torfhaus by car in approx. 10 minutes. There you can start the ascent to the Brocken.
