The surroundings of the resort offer many attractions. The complex is laid out as a garden with various fruit trees and numerous ornamental plants. Since Niedenstein is located in the southeastern part of the Habichtswald Nature Park, the location offers numerous hiking and biking trails. Among the mountains surrounding Niedenstein are the Schwengelberg and the Niedensteiner Kopf, with the "Hessenturm" observation tower. This can be reached on foot from the vacation park.
