There is a railway station in Rieder, in the Harz in Germany. It was constructed in 1891 for the imperial Railways. It is a characteristic building with a long history. The Deutsche Bahn, around the change of the century, closed the line that serviced this station. The building, part of the platform and a piece of land were offered for sale. After seven years of renovation, it re-opened in 2016. This is your chance to stay in at old train station building!The Suite is the top floor. You have to go up two original spiral staircases. There you have a fantastic view in the direction of Quedlinburg and the decades-old chestnuts on the driveway. It is very spacious with a large bathroom and a unique bunk bed and a loft with a staircase to the double bed.
