Eleven-city Dokkum is 15 km away.Enjoy a beautiful bike ride the Pondjesroute through National Park De Alde Feanen or walk in the Polder Rohel near Buitenpost: the Mem Wedmanpaed. The path of 2.5 km shows the marshy and peaty part of the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden. The National Park Lauwersmeer is 25 km away and you can walk or cycle beautifully.
