Beautiful spot overlooking the Lek River. Relax and enjoy!!! It is a cottage with a lot of freedom. It is great to enjoy the balcony with beautiful views and you sit in the middle of the griend with sound of many birds. There are also many pheasants. At dusk you can sometimes see a beaver swimming by. Through the path along the cottage you have access to our private beach. There you can relax, enjoy the peace and take a dip. We also have a Finnish kota, a very cozy hut where you can make a fire in the middle. It is cozy and romantic! You may use it by arrangement. The cottage is equipped with a combi oven, induction hob, air conditioning, smart TV , Wifi and a washing machine. Electric bike rental can be arranged. Next to Nieuw Lekkerland is Kinderdijk, a village known worldwide for its windmills. The famous mills of Kinderdijk tower above the polders of the Alblasserwaard, their mighty sails standing proud in the wind. There is plenty to do during your visit to Kinderdijk: take a tour boat, enter the museum mills and discover the personal stories of the millers. Furthermore, the Dordtse Biesbosch is highly recommended. You can hike, bike, canoe and bird watch here. You will feel right in the middle of nature! Rotterdam is also worth a visit! Easily accessible by water cab from Kinderdijk or Alblasserdam. Visit the Euromast and walk the Erasmus Bridge, then enjoy a bite to eat in Rotterdam's Market Hall. There are also several cheese farms nearby. In short, there is plenty to do and experience!
