In a special location, located on the Verwolde Estate and 150 meters from the Pieterpad, is this well-equipped nature house among the woods and meadows of Laren, Gld. Downstairs are the kitchen with cooking facilities, a cozy dining and sitting area, the bathroom with walk-in shower and sink and separate toilet. Upstairs is a spacious and bright double bedroom (double bed with separate mattresses) with adjacent toilet. The current owners have stylishly converted the originally old pigsty into a home. The house is heated by solar panels (floor heating over the entire first floor). There is opportunity to park your car at the house.From the house you look out over the garden to the meadow where our Icelandic horses are. Our own house is connected to the nature house through a gap at sufficient distance not to hear or see each other. Because we have a dog/cat ourselves, unfortunately we cannot allow other dogs. Loan bicycles are available.

The nature around the cottage is diverse and is known for its coulisse landscape where forest is interspersed with meadows.The cottage is located 100 meters from the road and is completely surrounded by meadows and nature. From the cottage there are many hiking and cycling opportunities (including Pieterpad, Lochemse berg and Holterberg). The village of Laren is 2.5 km from the cottage and has a restaurant, snack bar, bakery, butcher and supermarket, in addition there is a small, cozy market every Thursday morning. The town of Lochem (9 km away) has a wide range of restaurants and pubs and a good market on Wednesdays. Vorden with its castles and beautiful nature is 15 km away. Then there is the Hanseatic city of Zutphen with its beautiful old center and many pubs and restaurants. With a particularly extensive market on Thursdays and Saturdays. The old town of Deventer is just under 20 minutes away, with cultural opportunities such as theater and film.
