The location is 15 minutes boating distance from the romantic river Vecht. Amsterdam and Utrecht are both only 20 minutes driving distance. In the immediate vicinity are several (star) restaurants. The Loosdrechtse Plassen is busy and a well-known recreation and nature area where one can cycle, walk, sail and windsurf. A 5-minute drive from the house you will find 2 marinas where sailing boats and sloops can be rented. For families with children, it is important to mention that the garden is surrounded by water. Although the waterfront is bordered with a fence it is important not to let children who cannot swim out of sight. Also, one of the stairs in the house is a floating staircase without railing.
