The Buitenlokaal - luxury overnight stay in a converted school. Enjoy peace and nature in a brand new apartment in our old school just outside Dwingeloo. The apartment is located in the former principal's room which has been sustainably converted into a luxury space for up to 6 people (+ possibly 2 babies) The kitchen is very luxurious with induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, filter coffee machine and kettle. In the kitchen there is coffee, tea, milk, sugar, olive oil and pepper, salt. There are cleaning products, dishwasher tablets and a refrigerator with freezer. The first floor has underfloor heating and LED lighting. Ground floor : bedroom with bathroom 1st floor : 2 bedrooms + bathroom/toilet (1 bedroom with beds of 210cm) On all bedrooms there is room to add a baby bed. The beds are made and there are towels (1 bath towel and 2 towels per person) and kitchen linen available.

Outside The apartment has a private terrace with picnic table and lounge chairs with table and sunshade. This place gives lots of privacy and has a rural view.In the garden there is a trampoline.Find a place in the hammock or somewhere in the field.Read a book, muse away under the tree and enjoy the sound of the birds. With a little luck you will see a squirrel in the tree.Surroundings The Buitenlokaal is just outside the tourist town of Dwingeloo.Dwingeloo is an authentic brink village with several restaurants and cafes and stores. There is also an outdoor pool and and ice cream parlor. Recreational lake "The blue lake" is nearby and located in a beautiful nature reserve "the Leggelerveld. " In addition, we are close to nature reserves: "the Dwingelderveld" and "the Drents-Friese forest." A fantastic place for mountain biking, running, hiking and cycling. For culture lovers, the Shakespeare theater (Diever) is close by and the colony of Weldadigheid (Unesco /Frederiksoord)
