Enjoy a nice walk through the woods, a long bike ride or the warm wood-fired hot tub. Our studio in its own yard, among the trees, is new (2023) and fully equipped for 2 people. In the bedroom there is a double bed (160x210) with an EMMA mattress. In the bedroom you will find plenty of storage space for clothes. The bathroom has a washbasin, toilet and rain shower. Bath and bed linen is included. The kitchen is very complete and includes an electric stove, a dishwasher, a combination microwave, a nespresso machine, kettle and a refrigerator. Coffee and tea is included, as well as kitchen linen. The studio is electrically heated and cooled. Outside you will find beautiful spots among the trees, where you will also find the wood-fired hot tub. You can use this in consultation and for a fee (€ 37.50 for first time and € 25 per next time including slippers and towels). In the village (De Knipe) there is a bakery and a bicycle store.

From our plot you can walk directly onto the (forest) trails of Staatsbosbeheer to the forests and beautiful estates of Oranjewoud. From the location are several beautiful hiking trails to walk. The plot is adjacent to a canal (Prinsewyk). From our jetty it is possible to fish, canoe (there is a canoe rental nearby) or suppen (bring your own board). The area also invites for bicycle tours through this beautiful part of Friesland with its beautiful landscapes and cozy villages. The location is centrally located near Heerenveen. On short cycling distance you will find Museum Belvédère in Oranjewoud. Thialf is also easily accessible (20 minutes by bike). Furthermore, we are happy to inform you about places of interest or cycling and walking routes in the area.
