Welcome to our beautiful forest cottage on bungalow park the WICO in Schoonoord. We have our cottage with care beautifully decorated and fully equipped. A kitchen with all appliances; dishwasher, combi oven and coffee machine. Outside lovely furniture to fully enjoy nature, the garden is completely fenced with greenery and you can hear the birds singing all day. The bedroom has 2 single beds that you can easily slide together and there is a lovely place to write in front of the window. There is good wifi available so also a great base for a workation (work vacation). The cottage is fully equipped with underfloor heating so even in autumn and winter pleasant. The car you can park at the cottage and there is also a shed that can be locked so you can park your bikes there.

In the forests of Schoonoord in Drenthe is bungalow park Wico where you can find our forest cottage. The park is located in the forest and shifting sands area the Slenerzand. On the Slenerzand are extensive cycling and hiking trails, swimming pool the Kibbelkoele, a mountain bike trail of 32 km and Bosbad Noord-Sleen, a heated outdoor pool. The park is located about 15 km from Emmen, a super nice village with many restaurants, terraces, cinema, stores and of course Wildlands. The village Schoonoord is within cycling distance and is fully equipped including a supermarket, butcher, baker and several (takeaway) restaurants. Schoonoord has an open-air museum, Ellert and Brammert, and next to the park you will find an unmanned farm store, where you can buy products directly from the adjacent farm.
