Our cozy guesthouse Unieks is located next to the farmhouse on a plot of almost 6000m2. It has its own entrance and sunny terrace at the front giving you a lot of privacy. Enjoy this experience of sleeping in a gallery with unique (art) objects created by the owner. The beautiful bright and spacious bedroom/living room (45m2) has many windows and views of the large garden. Through a door you enter the new bathroom and the kitchenette where you can prepare a light meal. The B&B is located amidst beautiful nature reserves and centrally between nearby cities Groningen and Assen.

Amidst nature reserves Excellent base for walks in the nearby forest Natuurschoon Nietap/Terheijl, towards the Leekstermeer (2 km), the Drenthepad or Pronkjewailpad. Or grab a bike for countless beautiful tours in the Drents/Groningen landscape (the Onlanden, Roden, Norg, Paterswoldse Meer, hunebeddentocht etc.). Enjoy the space and tranquility of the beautiful landscape and the hospitality of the many (village) villages along the way. For more entertainment go/cycle to the vibrant city of Groningen (or Assen) with its beautiful museums, shopping streets and many restaurants and cafes. You reach the city in less than an hour by bike or within half an hour by car. The bus to Assen stops in front of the door and the bus to Groningen you take from the center of Leek (10 minutes walk). There is also a night bus from Groningen to Roden/Leek.
