The nature house is located on a Forest property in the middle of nature and within walking distance of town. Co-residents include mini zebu cows, sheep and various poultry. You can regularly spot animals here such as green and black woodpecker, swallows, collared redstart and deer. The forest property includes an herb garden from which guests are free to pick. The food forest flows into the beautiful forest of the Lochemseberg. In the area are many beautiful hiking, hike and bike (also ATB) routes. Lochem has not for nothing been declared the walking municipality of 2022! Had enough of all the green for a while? Then visit a cozy Hanseatic city nearby or one of the beautiful country estates. Settle down on one of the cozy terraces (10 min walk) enjoy a show in 1 of the many outdoor theaters nearby.
