Welcome to Néret, in the rural green heart of France! In 2023, in one of the outbuildings on our grounds, we have realized two completely furnished gîtes (vacation home/cottage) with conservation of as many original details as possible and equipped with very comfortable large boxsprings (210x90cm). Here you can relax, bike, walk, enjoy nature, the silence and the magnificent panoramic view. You have a private entrance through the meadow, where you can also park your car close to the cottage. During the day you can go out (or not), at night you can marvel at the beautiful starry sky without light pollution. And all this in the middle of nowhere, less than 3 ½ hours from Paris (720 km from Breda), exclusively for adults without pets. Peace and quiet guaranteed. The gîte is a short distance from the pilgrim path along the D68 to/from Santiago de Compostella (historical Vezelay route).

Your gîte is located on a hill near the village of Neret among the vast fields that change color every week or so: red poppies, lemon-yellow rapeseed, warm yellow sunflowers and golden corn. Néret is bordered by forests, so it is not rare to spot a deer, boar or fox. If you like hiking, biking (or doing nothing at all), you will be right at home here. In the summer months there are many brocante markets and vide-greniers in the region and the annual festival of traditional music 'Le Son Continue' at La Chatre, or you can visit the many George Sand museums, because after all you are here in her favorite province Le Berry :-). Nature park the Brenne is 60km away. Lac de Sidiailles with its water sports activities is 23km away. Of course you can also visit the wineries around Chateaumeillant (own AOC). The golf course of Des Dryades in Pouligny Notre Dame is 22km away.
