Surrounded by beautiful old trees, fragrant wild roses and the grass dotted with daisies, it has a lot of privacy. The reading cottage is available for info, tasty drinks, ice cream and coffee. The grounds on which the cottage stands meet with peace and quiet, a friendly atmosphere in an inspiring environment. The cottage is fully furnished and has 2 bedrooms, one on the ground floor. The living room, kitchen and dining area, although an open space, have surprising privacy. Because of its location, it is bright and pleasant inside. The site is named after a part of the Frisian water line. The rivers Tsjonger and Linde with in between the marshy stream valleys and bogs formed an area difficult to penetrate, including the Fochtelooerveen, Drents-Friese Wold & Leggelderveld, core areas in the Ecological Main Structure, a Natura 2000 area. But also the lesser known areas within walking distance, the Stuttebos, Diaconieveen and the Dellebuurderheide. The old meanders of the rivers now function as water storage.
