For those without their own camping equipment, at, the small campsite Boven het Maaiveld, a furnished Belltent is a fine solution. The spacious and cozy tent offers you everything you need. A good bed, cooking utensils, seating and atmospheric lighting. Near the tent you will find a cozy wood stove for long summer evenings outside. Come with your sleeping bag under your arm and a good mood. We'll take care of the rest! Rise above the ground as a bird of paradise! Boven het Maaiveld is located in North Holland, right in the middle between salt and sweet. We sometimes say: far away from everything and yet everything is close by! Visit the beaches, the cozy towns nearby and bike for hours through the wild west of the Netherlands: West-Friesland. The campsite is a delight for young and old. West Friesland is not in Friesland as many people think, make central North Holland. While cycling among the meadows, cows and tulip fields, before you know it you end up in a cozy town or plunge into the IJsselmeer or the North Sea.
