You'll find remnants of research on the Delta Works, as well as water works for exotic places like the port of Lagos. The forest is freely accessible from sunrise to sunset, or head out to discover the old coastline of Old and New Land and visit the old Zuiderzee towns...or something more fanatical take a mountain bike ride through the Voorsterbos? And for those who prefer to go out, there are plenty of opportunities to test your walking shoes.
