The authentic Mongolian handmade yurt stands in our lovely garden among the trees. In front of the door is a clearing with fireplace and garden table where you can enjoy your morning cup of tea or coffee or in the evening a glass of wine at sunset (if t weather permits ...). There is electricity available and a water point 10 meters away. In the yurt you can cook on a 1-burner stove and there is a kettle and coffee maker. There is a dining table, a spacious double bed and a sitting area. The shared bathroom (shower and toilet) and dishwashing area is 50 meters walk through the garden. Years ago we ourselves lived in this yurt for six months, so we know its magical peace and quiet and are happy to share it with you. In addition to this yurt, we also have a B&B with 5 bedrooms and common living room, which we rent out as a vacation home or as separate rooms and a camping field. The shared bathroom is also used by any B&B guests and campers.

The yurt is located in its own wooded garden, among the grasslands, on the Protected Villagescape of Ravenswoud. In the garden and by the pond you can relax and in the immediate vicinity you can walk in the Compagnonsbossen (500 meters away), the Fochteloërveen (2.5 km away) with its cranes and the Drents-Friese Wold (5 km away) with its forest, heathland, sand drifts and swimming water. On the canal along the road you can canoe or SUP and you can cycle right into the cozy Drenthe or fresh Friesland. In Appelscha (3 km) you will find many tourist activities and fine restaurants.
