Charming 2-person forest cottage on a private plot of about 3000 m2. Basic furnished with vintage furniture and totally focused on a pleasant "outdoor life". Especially for nature and peace seekers. The cottage is compact, light and spacious with sitting-/bedroom, kitchen, toilet and shower situated within an open floor plan. There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold running water and a convenient outdoor sink on the porch next to the front door. There is no internet connection so internet connection via Hotspot on your own phone. There is a radio and TV though. The simple kitchen is fully equipped with large refrigerator and 4-burner stove; no dishwasher and no freezer. There is a coffee maker and kettle. The living/sleeping area is heated with a gas heater. The double bed is 1.40 x 2.00 m and can be used for lounging during the day.

The beautiful and scenically varied surroundings are perfect for beautiful walks and bicycle tours. With the Hanseatic cities of Deventer (7km) and Zutphen (14km) in the vicinity, there is also much to do culturally. The beautiful village of Gorssel with its nationally known museum MORE within walking distance (4km). In Gorssel you will find a Jumbo supermarket and a number of fine restaurants. In the immediate vicinity you will find a number of country houses and castles, such as Oxerhof, Dorth House, and the special black-wood Norwegian House in which the StayOkay hotel is located. And of course, the river IJssel with its winding floodplains. Via the ferry you can easily reach the recreational lake Bussloo by bike (about 7 km).
