At 10 minutes from the highway , between Chateauroux and Limoges is Le moulin de Saint Civran. It is a hamlet of 5 houses , including an old water mill , on a dead end road which turns into a footpath to the river. The 18th century mill is at the end of the road with the miller's house next to it. Then the footpath begins. Marte and her husband and children live in the right part of the mill. The left part is the cottage; you enter via a stone staircase. On the ground floor is the kitchen with a dining area and the sitting area with a sofa and a wood stove. A staircase leads upstairs to a spacious landing, where there is a sofa bed ( 120 ) and a desk. There is a bedroom with a double bed (180 cm), a separate toilet and a bathroom with a shower cabin. There is no garden, but you can sit with chairs in front of the house. In the evening just put inside, because sometimes the neighbor wants to pass by or the farmer with his tractor. By the river is a picknictable.

Le moulin de Saint Civran is located in the natural park of la Brenne. To the north -west extends a lake area of . hectares ou km 2. Bird sanctuary . Cranes rest here during bird migration and in summer you can see turtles in this area. Bird lovers will have a great time . The area is gently sloping with little traffic for cyclists an ideal environment. The nearest town of Saint Benoit du Sault is medieval and has a weekly market and sights. On the other side of the A 20 runs the river Creuse and Lake Eguzon. Here you can swim , sail , kayak and mountain climb and lie in the sun.Near Eguzon is the town of Crozan and le vallée des peintres. In this famous place many impresionists have lived and worked .
