This Nature House is a former staff house of the nearby castle de Coninck de Merckem. It has been renovated while preserving its authentic elements and providing contemporary comfort. Wood for the wood stove is also provided. At the back of the house there is a lawn and a spacious terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Our Ouessant sheep are your closest neighbors. In the morning we serve you breakfast in the form of a breakfast basket. This is carefully composed with traditional local products and home-made products. We have an orchard and vegetable garden from which we process our fruit into fruit juices, jams and preserves. Our bees provide delicious honey. We buy what we need from local producers and farms.

Our cottage is located at the back of our B&B which we have been running since 2011. We are situated in a beautiful region where you can cycle and walk endlessly. The Blanckaart nature reserve is only 4.5 km away. Located between Ypres (Palingbeek/Gasthuisbossen....) and Diksmuide. Also the beer lovers come to their senses in the Westhoek, the Saint Sixtus Abbey is located 15 km.
