Welcome to Goeree Overflakkee! Our farm cottage is the perfect base to enjoy this beautiful island. Located in the garden of a farmer just outside Stellendam you can come home after a day out in a very comfortable house with luxury amenities. When the weather is nice, you eat outside at the picnic table under the fruit trees. On cold evenings you warm up inside by the wood stove. The house has a tastefully furnished sitting area, luxury kitchen, bathroom with rain shower, ecological toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Under the stairs is the second sitting area with a sofa bed, note that it is not separated from the downstairs area. The open bedroom is upstairs. Here a lovely double bed awaits you with soft sheets made of Egyptian cotton. The house is gas-free, all energy is provided by solar panels. Because of the underfloor heating, the temperature is always pleasant in winter. In summer you can air well and cool the room with fans.

Come hiking on vast beaches, cycling or mountain biking in the dunes and bird watching in the island's many nature reserves. Go swimming, surfing, kiting, supping, diving, sailing or golfing, dine at night in a characteristic village and say hello to the seals at the "A Seal" sanctuary. It can all be found in the vicinity. Do you also fancy vibrant city life; in half an hour's drive you are in metropolis Rotterdam! Note: You can only rent this cottage for a weekend, long weekend, midweek or week. Maximum stay is two weeks.
