Sleep under a clear starry sky and wake up by the singing of the birds. In the northeast of the Achterhoek, as part of our residential farm, we have converted an old barn into a comfortable guesthouse with a large private garden and terrace. The entrance to the cottage is at the rear in a garden with orchard, summer berries, plums, apples and pears are free to pick. The room is about 40 m2 and furnished with a king-size bed with adjustable Auping bases, a generous sofa, rattan armchair, TV/WIFI and dining table with chairs. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, 2-pan induction hob, oven-microwave, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, cooking utensils and crockery. Behind the barn door you will find the toilet, sink and shower cabin with rain shower. Price includes tourist tax, towels and made bed on arrival. Our cottage can be booked with or without breakfast, €12,50 pp (in July and August breakfast is not possible) Welcome and enjoy!

Our farmhouse is located on an old ash field in the middle of a beautiful scenic landscape, which characterizes this part of the Achterhoek. Directly from your stay there are several hiking trails on dirt roads, along meadows and woods where you just might encounter a deer, squirrel or hare. Just a stone's throw away are several bicycle junctions. Estate Wolink, part of the Geldersch Landscape and Castles, is just around the corner and from the village of Haarlo you can walk for miles along the river Berkel. In summer you can swim in the Hambroekplas, 3 km from the cottage. Nice villages and towns to visit: the Berkelstadje Borculo, fortified town Groenlo, arts town Diepenheim, castle Ruurlo museum MORE and a little further the beautiful Hanseatic city Zutphen. Various cycling and walking routes lead you past impressive estates and gardens. Stores are 4 km away, the nearest restaurant 1 km.
