Our B&B is located in the idyllic village of Leur, with a magnificent view and lots of privacy. You can enjoy peace and freedom here in all seasons, while looking out over the meadows. You also can do this in our 2-person jacuzzi (from €40,-). You have a cottage for yourself about 40 meters from the main house. During warm days the airco will provide you with coolness. The airco and jacuzzi are powered by solar panels. The “Heerlijkheid Leur” has a church, restaurant and visitor center with regional products. In the immediate vicinity you can walk and cycle to your heart's content. But even if you visit the Thermen Berendonck, the Gardens and the steam pumping station of Appeltern or a day in Nijmegen, it is wonderful to relax in our B&B. The B&B is located on the Walk of Wisdom route and is easily accessible by public transport (Wijchen train station and local bus with stop in front of the gate). In consultation we can serve an evening meal. A laundry service is also available.

In the heart of the Land van Maas en Waal lies the Heerlijkheid Leur, an estate that has been privately owned since 1748. Old lime trees line the winding country roads, the meadows are full of herbs and clover and in the woods you can hear the woodpecker, the cuckoo and sometimes “Jeroen” the peacock. This oasis of peace and conviviality is a wonderful place to walk, to enjoy the old trees along the avenues and monumental buildings. In the vicinity you can walk to your heart's content. Think of the forests of Leur and Hernen and the Hatertse Vennen. The B&B is located along several long-distance hiking trails such as the Walk of Wisdom and Roots nature trail. The B&B is also located on various cycling routes and between points 66 and 67 of the node network. It is wonderful cycling in the Land van Maas en Waal with its beautiful river landscape and various historic villages. The nearby hilly landscape at Berg en Dal is also definitely worth a visit.
