Our cottage, overlooking the fields, is located under oak trees at the end of a cul-de-sac. This house of the 70s served as the janitor's house of a textile factory and was very recently renovated by us. The house has a cozy little garden, full of flowers, herbs, raspberries, blue and red berries and a large greenhouse where we grow fresh vegetables for you. At the back of the garden is a large covered terrace, where you can stay during warm weather or rain. The house is the ideal base for exploring Limburg by bike or on foot. The house has 2 bedrooms with double bed and 1 bedroom with double bed and above that a double bunk bed, suitable for a weight under 140kg. For cycling enthusiasts, Limburg is a true paradise. Thanks to the bicycle junction network, you can discover Limburg from north to south, from east to west, through the water, through the trees, on the trail of Bruegel.... Our house is close to a cycling junction! Walkers can also walk for hours through the woods, across the moors or along the 1001 (!) ponds. Located near the Teut, Ten Haagdoorn, the Wijers, Bosland, the Maten, ... a week is too short to explore everything. Also the Loonse route GR564 passes by the house. Castle Ter dolen, with its delicious, home-brewed beer and escaperoom, or Molenheide, with their swimming paradise and largest indoor playground in the Benelux, are 2 km. from the house. Our coal mine sites and Bokrijk are definitely worth a visit. The house is located in Central Limburg and is therefore very easily accessible by bicycle or car. In the house you will find a folder with everything to do in the area and our favorite walks and bike rides.
