Our wooden house with a garden of 4000 m2 is an oasis of peace warmth and coziness. It is located on the outskirts of Dohis a small farming village with about 85 inhabitants. Equipped with good beds, a practical kitchen, two toilets and a nice bathroom with large walk-in shower. On the terraces in front and behind the house you can enjoy the panoramic views of the garden and the surrounding rolling countryside. Surface area of the house is 140 m2. Ground floor entrance hall 15m2 with first toilet and separate room for the Miele washer / dryer and hot water boiler 150 liters. Spacious living / dining room 36m2 with oak parquet floor wood stove, library and open kitchen 12m2 with all amenities. Terrace in front 24m2 large terrace behind 32m2. Second floor landing 10m2 with adjacent bathroom 9m2 and second toilet and three spacious bedrooms with in each room a double bed. One time 180x200 cm and two times 160x200 cm. Beds are made when guests arrive.

The House is in the Thierache which is a protected nature reserve with a couliese landscape of hills, forests and vistas. It is a region known for its fortified churches, loam half-timbered houses and farms. You will see different breeds of cows and regularly encounter a deer, fox or hare. In our village you can buy pure organic honey and various homemade liqueurs from the honey farmer. Nearby farmers sell fresh raw milk eggs and organic vegetables. The starry sky is particularly clear here because there is no light pollution. In the area there is a lot of hiking, cycling, canoeing and horseback riding You can visit the local distillery and taste and buy the home distilled Eau de Vie. From mid-April to the end of September there are flea markets every weekend. Supermarket, bakery, delicatessen, doctor, pharmacy and garage at 3km. Further on in Hirson are Lidl, Aldi, Action, Leclerq, Auchan, Mc Donalds.
