It was built with loam, stones and wooden beams. All the authentic elements can still be seen today. The wood stove in the living room ensures that it is never cold. But we only light it ourselves in the spring and fall. It is nice that there is a washing machine, so your underwear is clean again quickly. Outside, everything is dry within an hour. You are completely in nature there, it is dead quiet, you only hear the birds and the crickets, even though we have neighbors on both sides. At night you can see 3000 stars because there is no false light. Nature is overwhelming, you can walk right into the forest and can easily take a one-hour round trip. It is great swimming in the river Allier. There are two possibilities: swimming in Chilhac (at the campsite) but is also allowed for people not staying at the campsite.
