Our accommodation is adjacent to the Star Numanbos, which turns into the Bremer Wilderness with beautiful cycling and walking routes. At the end of the Jan Jurjenssingel the old little river De Luts flows, from the Slotermeer it flows past the Linde trees in Balk to the woods in Gaasterland. Along the banks grow beautiful King ferns. With a little luck, you'll see a Kingfisher nesting here in the steep overs, or spot the rare Life-bearing Lizard sunbathing.
