Always wanted to spend a special night? You can! From 2022 we have a sweet little sleeping house for rent, named Ollie. Ollie is a sweet treasure, in Dutch ... a laiverd! Comfortable, cozy, warm ... a real Tiny house on wheels, sometimes also called a mobile home. The sleeping cottage is built with scaffolding wood for a warm and robust look and you sleep in a beautiful box bed with normal bed sizes (so you do not have to lie folded ;-). Bring your own bed linen and towels (or rent them). There is a kitchenette with water, a refrigerator and a kettle. Furthermore, you use the campsite kitchen and the campsite sanitary facilities. In addition, a cozy sitting area, really a small house. Ollie stands on a beautiful spot on our nature campsite, near his 3 brothers (sleeping cabin Boris, Bram and Bikkel) and there is room for 5 tents on the site. Wide view, sunset, deer, you can see it all! Tent next door for the kids? You can do that too!

The surroundings are particularly surprising! Brook valleys, slightly undulating, winding rivers, forest, many nature reserves and lots of walking, cycling and canoeing opportunities. They also call this area the Drenthe of Groningen or the pearl of Westerwolde. There is also a large mountain bike network and many places of interest. In the vicinity is a tropical swimming pool, a possibility for water skiing and wakeboarding, various museums, monasteries and a castle in Wedde, the fortified town of Bourtange, seal spotting in Fiemel, watching a cruise ship being built in Papenburg, Germany, shopping in Leer or the city of Groningen, day trip to the German Wadden Island of Borkum, a fairytale forest in Ter Apel or a dinosaur park in Wedde, the zoo in Emmen ... all within about half an hour. Will you come too? We have 3 apartments in the farmhouse and at the back of the property are 3 sweet little sleeping cabins for two on our small camping field for 7 tents.
