Our vacation home in the fruit region of Belgium is built with natural and healthy materials and produces its own water and electricity. You obviously have full access to the large garden (5000 m2), as well as the food forest in the making, herbs and so on. The chickens welcome you. You can also use your own terrace and reserve the Weltevree hot tub (125 eur). We provide coffee (real ones, not nespresso), water, organic olive oil, unrefined salt, and organic black pepper. Nature is always nearby: Plants filter our water and the sun provides our electricity. The house always feels cozy and is well ventilated thanks to natural insulation materials and a high-tech ventilation system. You have complete peace due to the orientation of the house and the separate entrance. The owners share the garden with you. A dog is very welcome but report separately after your booking (79 eur per stay).

The plantations surrounding the house offer a fantastic panorama during your stay and also from the hot tub. You live in the heart of Haspengouw, surrounded by fruit tree plantations. Respecting the farmers, you can always walk through them (at the back you jump over the stream), ideal for waking up. The house is located directly between two nature reserves: the Schulensmeer and the Vinne. The trendy Genk with Labiomista (open-air museum and animal park) is only 30 minutes away by car. Near Hasselt is the beautiful hiking area De Wijers. And finally Antwerp, Liège and Maastricht are also only a short hour's drive away. If we are available, we like to welcome our guests personally and have a chat on the terrace or in the house. This is also how we use the platform ourselves when we travel. Of course, first and foremost we respect your privacy and tranquility.
