The nature house is located in the middle of the beautiful nature reserve of the Wadden area, in the village of Usquert. The cottage is freely located next to a grove where deer and pheasant reside. It is very quiet and peaceful. The cozy cottage of about 60 m2, has 1 bedroom (2 x 1 bed) on the first floor. it is equipped for 2 people. (For two extra people in the living room is a sofa bed) Furthermore, there is a living room, kitchen (2 burner induction, microwave, fridge freezer), bathroom. Wifi, TV, DVD player are available. Everything needed for a short vacation or weekend getaway. The spacious garden offers opportunity for a campfire and BBQ. The covered terrace faces southwest and has sun until evening. For a small additional fee it is allowed to put up a tent for visitors. There is also a bed bath on the ground floor (200 x 140 cm). Electric bikes can be charged for free and are in a lockable storage room.

From the cottage there are many walking and / or cycling routes and 10 minutes by bike is the Wadden Sea at Noordpolderzijl with the cozy cafe The Zielhoes. It is wonderful cycling along the dike. Every hour during the day there are two trains from Usquert to the city of Groningen and 4 times a day there is a train with connection to the island of Borkum. The village of Usquert is known for the Berlage house. The last work of the famous architect Hendrik Berlage. In the small harbor of Noordpolderzijl, recreational boating is possible. The Wadden coast marshes can be easily overlooked from the sea dike. Noordpolderzijl is a beautiful location for a visit to our salt marsh area. Vacation cottage The Wadden Owl is located in this pristine nature reserve. The meeting of salt and fresh water makes the area unique. In the brackish tidal landscape, plants such as the sea aster and various mudflats and water birds feel perfectly at home.
