The forest cottage is located on a piece of forest land adjacent to the Sleenerzand forest area, in a Bungalow Park. In the spacious garden you can enjoy sun and shade, together with the numerous birds that have their preferred spots in the birdhouses and trees around the bungalow. Inside the cottage you will find a cozy living room with a comfortable sofa by a cozy pot-bellied stove. There is central heating and cable television. There is no WiFi, but there is mobile coverage. In the kitchen you will find all the necessities such as a refrigerator, oven, microwave and stove. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen-size bed (140 cm), the other has a solid bunk bed. The cottage is comfortable for 4 adults. A small but modern bathroom is fully equipped. Here is underfloor heating built in and you can take a nice hot shower.

In the surroundings of the forest cottage there is already a lot to do. There is plenty of nature where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Opposite the cottage is the forest area De Voshaar where you can take a nice walk along the Meeuwenplas. Also in the nearby forest area Het Sleenerzand you can walk endlessly. Here are a number of well-marked walks to follow. For long distance walkers, the forest cottage is easily accessible from the Pieterpad. The junction network around the forest cottage provides enough nodes to explore the area by bike. Recommended is also "the Bike Path", which for cyclists follows as much as possible the Pieterpad, looking for the most beautiful, car-free and car-free (bicycle) paths and roads. A short distance from the forest cottage you can cool off in the Kibbelkoele. A beautiful swimming pool with sandy beach. Within walking distance of the forest cottage you can visit the dolmen 'De Papeloze Kerk', celtic fields and burial mounds.
