This nature house (11 m²) is on a nature campsite and is located on the edge of National Park Lauwersmeer, near World Heritage Site Wadden Sea. Sanitary facilities can be found in the sanitary building of the camping site. The standard cabin is equipped for a maximum of 4 persons. There are 2 bunk beds with comforters and pillows, for which bedding is optional to rent. There is a two-burner stove available. You can also use a cooking box, containing pans, plates and cutlery. A table and 4 chairs complete the furnishings. Terrace furniture is available on the veranda.

You will find the nature house on the edge of the National Park Lauwersmeer, which offers many opportunities to enjoy nature. Excursions with the forest ranger are organized from the activity center of the Forestry Commission. In June, part of the park turns purple with flowering orchids. If you walk along the orcid trail, you can see everything up close. It is also a unique park for birdwatchers. With a little luck you will see the bald eagle, which has been breeding here for several years. But not only the park is worth seeing. There are several special (botanical) gardens and nurseries to visit. Furthermore, a day trip to Schiermonnikoog is recommended. The ferry takes you to the island in 45 minutes (and you might see seals along the way!). Then enjoy cycling or walking and getting a breath of fresh air on the beach. In the surrounding villages there are many museums and galleries. At 2.5 kilometers you will find the fishing village of Zoutkamp, with several restaurants and pubs.
