In this nature house you can enjoy peace and nature. The cozy cottage has large windows overlooking the edge of the forest. From the cottage you can walk straight into the forest or the field behind the cottage. You can make beautiful bike/walking trips. Car and bikes are easy to park and for electric bicycles is an outlet available. The cottage is well insulated, can be easily ventilated and has floor heating. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven. Downstairs toilet and shower are separate. Upstairs there are two single beds which you can slide together if necessary. From the bed you have a view of the field and you can see the stork's nest. Tonden is a hamlet with 340 inhabitants. The historic Hanseatic city of Zutphen is within biking distance, as is the Veluwe. Eerbeek is the closest for daily shopping. Important that you have good mobility, because of step between kitchen and living room.

The grounds around the nature house are part of Natura 2000 area Landgoederen Brummen with the special Empese and Tonden heathland, the Leusveld and Voorstonden. This is not without reason, because the varied landscape with estates, pools and hedgerows makes this an important habitat for the crested newt. You can also hear the mysterious garlic toad in the pond with any luck in the spring. Short-eared owl, kingfisher, meadowlark, yellowhammer, raven, green and black woodpecker are species you may encounter here. The grassland here is flowery with many butterflies and insects. In the field behind the cottage there are grains and flowers in the summer. Everything to please the birds, deer, insects and the badger (which often visits our field at night).
