The Cottage is a detached building in the yard, originally a small stable for cattle. The previous residents turned it into a painting studio and sheep pens, and we converted it into a cottage with two bedrooms, a bathroom, separate toilet and kitchen. With the conversion we have achieved an energy label C. The beds are made for you, the towels are ready and coffee and tea is there for you to enjoy. Both bedrooms are equipped with beds that can be put down either as a double bed or as two single beds, just tell us how you want it then we put in the right way ready. In the tranquility of the surroundings you have all your own place, ideal to get away from it all! On request we also provide your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Directly opposite our yard begins the footpath to the Empese and Tondense Heide and on the bike you are in no time in the vast forests of the Veluwe or in the beautiful IJssel Valley. An extensive network of cycling nodes shows you the way. For relaxation or a splash in the pool you do not even have to leave the yard, but for more wellness you can spend a day at Sauna Thermen Bussloo less than ten kilometers away. In and near Recreatieplas Bussloo there is much more to do. Culture lovers can indulge themselves in the nearby Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer or cultural stronghold Arnhem. From Brummen you can take a ferry across the IJssel to Bronkhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands. Or visit the Kröller Müller Museum in the heart of national park De Hoge Veluwe.
