Castle Ainay-le-Vieil

Are you looking for a holiday home in Cher? In Ainay-le-Vieil, in the south of Cher, you will find the castle of the same name. From one of the holiday homes you can easily visit this special building. Characteristic are the 9 peppercorn shaped towers and the 14th century walls. Because all this is well preserved, the castle is also called 'the Carcassonne of Berry'. Medieval gardens at Culan Castle

If you are staying in a gite near Culan, in the south of Cher, a visit to Château de Culan is definitely recommended.
