Cottages in Central Bohemia

The Central Bohemian Region is to be found on the territory of the Czech Republic, and it is simply stunning. What awaits you here is sure to be mesmerizing, particularly if you are looking for a peaceful break from city life. However, make no mistake – there are some cities around which you can also explore such as Prague, for instance. Although the capital is just phenomenal, we are sure that you will also tremendously enjoy the unique nature around – which almost seems too good to be true.

If you are looking for ways to make your trip to the Central Bohemian Region even more exciting, then you should by all means consider renting a cottage. It is certainly not your everyday accommodation – in other words, a cottage is going to guarantee you a ton of memories. Besides, there is hardly any better way for you to explore the nature around – you just need to open your door to let the smells and the sounds of nature in.

A natural bucket list

Just being in the region is somehow inviting you to start exploring. Our first recommendation might prove to be your favourite destination in the area – it is called Bohemian Paradise. It was founded during the year 1955, and it has never ceased to be amazing – ever since! You can count on experiencing truly one-of-a-kind nature here – in fact, if you are a photographer, do not forget to bring your gear with you. Although there is something outstanding everywhere you look, the rocks which are to be found here have gained international fame – so much that some of them even have their own names. Granted, they are so astonishing that we would also name them if we had the chance to. It is really hard to pick a favourite among all of them, but you cannot go wrong with visiting the Suché rocks.

What you should see next is different from what you have already experienced, but it too has the power to make you adore nature. We are talking about the Koněprusy Caves. A visit to this location takes a bit of planning, as they are generally closed during winter times. However, if you have the chance, do not miss your opportunity to visit this natural jewel. There are plenty of tours which you can take part in – going in a cave with a guide is always a good idea!

Activities to keep you busy

If you tend to enjoy extreme sports, you will probably be happy to engage in some rock climbing here. Of course, one has to be incredibly skilful and experienced, but if you possess what is required then you are sure to spend an amazing day exercising.

If you are afraid of heights – or there is something else which stops you from rock climbing – why don’t you enjoy some traditional hiking instead? Sometimes the benefits of hiking tend to be underestimated – it is a great hobby especially when you are trying to see as much of nature as possible while also staying fit.
