With the use of natural, sustainable materials, a luxurious and attractive apartment has been built, an oasis of peace and modern comfort. The main house offers a living/working area and a modern, fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom in the main residence has a double twin bed, walk-in closet and bathroom with separate toilet. The 2nd bedroom, on the other side of the patio, has 2 single beds, its own bathroom and separate toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided. The loft with spiral staircase and TV offers, like the patio, a wonderful place to look out over the river IJssel and its floodplains. A fiberglass connection provides access to fast Internet and Wifi. Living area and 2nd bedroom each have their own workspace.

The residence is located just outside the village of Zalk, where restaurant "the Oasis" is located. About 10 km from Zalk you will find the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Kampen, Hattem and Zwolle. Located in the floodplains, adjacent to a Natura 2000 area, the residence offers a base for beautiful cycling and walking tours. The Laarzenpad, for example, runs along the IJssel and through the riparian forest with rare plant species. The area has a wide diversity of water, meadow and forest birds. This certainly also applies to the Vreugderijker Waard Nature Reserve, located across the IJssel and easily accessible from April 1 to October 31 via the Zalker foot ferry.
