Welcome! This classically built (2021) and modern furnished haystack is located in the spacious yard of a typical Salland farmhouse. The detached haystack has a private entrance and a spacious sheltered garden facing southwest. From the living room through a 4-meter wide glass sliding doors to reach the sheltered garden. This garden, overlooking meadows, is exclusively available to our guests. In the haystack there are two bedrooms. One bedroom downstairs with a box spring 160x200 and a sleeping area on the mezzanine with a single bed. Sleeping separately is therefore possible. In the warm spring and summer months, the downstairs bedroom can be cooled by a fixed air conditioner. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The haystack is less suitable for children because of the vide and open staircase. Additional information: charging station to be used with a charge card, simple TV with Chromecast (no regular channels).

The nature house is located in a hamlet in the municipality of Olst-Wijhe (province of Overijssel). The yard is located almost directly on the IJsseldijk. The surroundings are perfect for long walks and cycling tours. A dip in the IJssel is also within reach, due to the many small sandy beaches (floodplains) along the IJssel. The area is designated as a Natura 2000 area. Nature and bird lovers can indulge themselves here. Besides the beautiful immediate surroundings, Herxen is also a good base for visiting the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Zwolle (10 km to the center) and Deventer (25 km). Herxen's bus stop is approximately 1 kilometer from the Haystack. Zwolle's train station is approximately 10 kilometers from the haystack. Herxen has a village house with a large terrace, where simple meals and drinks can also be served. Otherwise, Herxen has no amenities. The nearest supermarket is 5 kilometers away.
