Our guesthouse is detached next to the main house and has its own terrace and garden. The house is located at the end, or, just how you see it, at the beginning, of the village of Driehuizen. It is located directly on the water of the Eilandspolder and on LAW trails. Guests have free access to a two-person canoe to explore the Eilandspolder. The nature house is new and comfortably and attractively furnished. There is a sitting area and a sleeping area with an adjoining beautiful bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, egg cooker, coffee maker and kettle. There is a small oven as well as crockery and cutlery. A good "do it yourself" breakfast will be prepared for you in the evening so you can decide what time you wish to have breakfast (unfortunately we cannot accommodate special dietary needs, other than vegetarian). The cottage is ground floor, but not suitable for the disabled. The guesthouse is pet- and smoke-free.

The beautiful village, once called "Jewel in the Green," is known for its beautiful location, bordered by water and adjacent to the Eilandspolder, a protected nature reserve. Because of its location on the Eilandspolder with its many birds, ditches, lakes, hiking and biking trails, Driehuizen is very suitable for nature lovers. In café de Vriendschap you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, a pancake or another dish on the beautiful terrace with a fantastic view. You can also rent whisper boats here in season. Cities such as Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem, Hoorn, Volendam and nice coastal towns like Egmond and Bergen, are easily accessible. But also, for example, De Zaanse Schans or the Broeker Veiling are not far away. In the area there are several nice farm stores with tasty local products. In short, you can enjoy nature here, read or even write a book, be active or just relax. Driehuizen and surroundings has it all.
