This sleeping studio (15m2) is located on an estate, in the middle of the lake area between Utrecht and Amsterdam. There is a double bed of 160cm wide. If necessary, this bed can also be made into two single beds. The room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker, kettle, crockery and simple cooking facilities. We provide clean bedding, please bring your own towels. For a fee you can use the available canoes and subs. You can also purchase wood to make fire with. On the estate are many edible herbs and bushes from which you may pick wild for your own use.

The estate consists of 5 hectares of protected nature reserve of (quaking) peat, broekbos, marshes and zod. The sleeping studio is located directly on the water that opens onto the Kortenhoef lakes on one side and the Hilversum Canal on the other. Wander through nature on the estate and come across our herd of Soay sheep or wild deer. Enjoy the many birds such as the buzzard, swallow, heron, stork, warbler and if you are lucky the kingfisher. Grab a canoe and explore the Kortenhoefse plassen, where it is also good swimming. Walk along the Oppad to the estates of 's Gravenland or visit the many cozy catering establishments nearby.
