A short walk from De Maashorst nature reserve, you will find our beautiful nature house. The spacious living room has a cozy sitting area where you can comfortably enjoy your fired fire around the wood stove. The wood stove heats the nature house so getting wood outside and stoking a fire do belong to the activities. The large window gives a nice view of the animal life all around. So you watch the homecoming of the chickens at night to the coop from the living room or from the outdoor seating area. You can also easily follow the daily rhythm of the horses in the paddock or pasture directly adjacent to the nature house. In the cozy sleeping area on the mezzanine is a double bed (also 2 x single to cover). The outdoor terrace allows for BBQing and outdoor dining. For the enthusiast we have a ladies and a gents bike for rent. (€ 10,- per person )

In the immediate vicinity of the nature house is the nature reserve De Maashorst. 1800 ha of forest and heath where you will find shifting dunes, rare breaches and Wijstgronden. In the area with many walking, cycling and riding routes, you will encounter Wissenten, Taurossen and Exmoore ponies that have their habitat here. In the Maashorst you will also find special primal treasures such as royal tombs and an ancient urn field. Within walking distance you can enjoy a delicious meal on the waterside terrace at the "Bomenpark Heesch". Good food is also available at 't Pumpke in Nistelrode and Brasserie 't oude Raadhuis in Heesch. Within 10 km around Nistelrode you can enjoy shopping in the villages of Heesch, Schaijk, Zeeland, Uden and the fortified town of Grave. A little further at 20 min drive you will find the larger cities of Eindhoven, Nijmegen and 's-Hertogenbosch. Worth seeing in the area are the Brabant jewels Castle Heeswijk-Dinther, the Abbey of Berne and the Kruisherenkapel in Uden.
