This four-person, detached cottage is located 40 km from the Belgian border in the hamlet of Les Duizettes near the village of Rocquigny in the French Ardennes (08). Besides a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and a living room, this accommodation offers a beautiful wide view of the rolling valley and forest of Rocquigny and the meadows with "organic cows" of our neighbors. It features, through its many doors and windows, optimal natural light from sunrise to sunset. Since you are the only guests on the property, and have your own private grounds at your disposal, you are guaranteed privacy, inspiring peace and quiet and space. There are also many activities to do off site such as hiking, biking, visiting villages or towns, or tasting champagne in one of the many champagne caves in Reims. Les Hiboux has fast and unlimited inyernet. So come enjoy, recharge and relax in this authentic agricultural hamlet and feel French for a while.

The property is surrounded by meadows on the North, East and West sides. From your cottage or your private property you can see at the front (East) the beautiful rolling landscape with the forest of Rocquigny and the pastures of the organic cattle farmers from Les Duizettes. Regularly their white Charlorais cows stare at you moodily. With luck, roe deer can be spotted at the edge of the forest, and with even more luck, a fox. Behind the laurel hedge, next to our property, is the house of our retired neighbor and his wife. You will occasionally see him passing by on the road or through the pasture on his way to his cows or one of his many fruit trees. On the north side is our house and private garden. In your private area are two comfortable deck chairs and hanging from the branches of the proud weeping willow is a hanging chair and a hammock for relaxed gazing into the distance. The further surroundings are ideal for a lovely walk or beautiful bike ride.
