The nature house is on a small vacation park in its own 1800 m2 piece of forest. From the park you can walk onto the heath of the Doldersummerveld, where recently a wolf pair has settled. The house has the living room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find two renovated bedrooms. The barn is equipped with a power point for possible charging of electric bicycles, here is also the washing machine. In the closet in the living room there are several board games. The park is located in the middle of the Drents-Friesewold. From the park you can walk on the heath of the Doldersummerveld. Photos of this heathland can be seen in our photo series. Besides the many cycling and hiking trails in the area there is a visitors center of the State Forestry with many activities for all ages. On hot days you can swim in the Aekingermeer which is a 20 minute bike ride away. In Appelscha there is a very nice climbing forest. In addition, beautiful villages like Diever, Dwingeloo and Vledder are worth visiting. With dolmens, sheep pens and sand drifts, the area is beautiful to mention. You can also visit former camp Westerbork. And also open-air museum Orvelte and the zoo in Emmen are less than an hour away. You will not be bored in this area.
