The 4-pers. non-smoking house (67m2) is located at the top of Overijssel and is located at the rear of the house plot of the owners, adjacent to the Steenwijkerdiep canal (own jetty and excellent sailing connections with, among other things, the various lakes). Due to the distance to the house, the large garden and the private driveway, there is more than enough privacy. It has a comfortably furnished living room with, among other things, a TV, wood stove, open kitchen with, among other things, a combi oven, dishwasher, 4-burner gas stove and extensive kitchen inventory. The residence has 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 with 2 single box spring beds, bathroom with a rain shower, toilet and sink, south-facing terrace deck (39m2) and a roof (16m2) on the east side. Located on the border of the Wieden to the south and the Weerribben to the north; together the National Park Weerribben-Wieden and the largest peat bog in Western Europe. This pristine wetland area offers space and tranquillity. Here you will find ponds, ditches, extensive reed beds, meadows full of flowers and dense swamp forests. Each season with its own charm. In the spring, the birds make for a buzzing crowd. From Jun. the water lilies, yellow clump and yellow iris are in bloom until August. Winter brings a beautiful tranquil landscape. With hoarfrost on the trees and perhaps ice on the water. The golden yellow reed stands out beautifully and reed cutters are at work. As you sail and wander in the National Park you will see trees, water, birds, endless reed beds and possibly an otter. In this park you can enjoy walking, cycling and boating. A visit to the spinning head mill “de Wicher” in Kalenberg, "Buitencentrum Weerribben" or one of the duck decoys is worthwhile.
