This unique haystack house is fully equipped for a wonderful stay among the farmlands, near the woods and in the nature of beautiful Drenthe. You enter in the large living kitchen overlooking the meadows, stables and riding arena behind the house. The nature house has a fully equipped kitchen, including refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven and senseo machine. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a lovely box spring and the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, equipped with bed linen and towels. There is room to add a baby bed, toys and baby equipment are available on request. Outside you can take a seat in the sunny seating area or under the canopy in the shade. Good to know: We are busy in/around the stables several times a day with the horses and our dog runs loose in the yard. Therefore, a dog is welcome if always leashed in the yard. Tourist tax is exclusive and has to be paid at check-in at € 1,21 p.p.p.n.

The cottage is a great getaway location for hiking or biking through the beautiful Reest valley. You can easily start these from the cottage. There are also many nature reserves in the immediate vicinity for walking and cycling. Look for this on the website of state forestry management. Furthermore, Ruinen, Echten, Ommen, Dedemsvaart, Meppel and Hoogeveen can be reached in about 15min. Boating in Giethoorn (40min) or watching dolmens at Havelte or Emmen (30min) are also among the possibilities. Zuidwolde (6km) is the nearest village for daily shopping and a cozy terrace. Bicycles can be stored under the roof. Parking on site.
