The boathouse is located in the nature of the Molenpolder nature reserve where you can enjoy a beautiful, natural environment. Access to the boathouse is along the side of the landlords' house that stands in front of it. The nature house is 100% green and suitable for two people. Waste is separated, there are solar panels on the roof and no gas. In the bedroom there is a double bed and a closet for storage. Bed linen and towels are provided. The living room has a sofa and the dining table overlooks the beautiful nature reserve. To heat/cool the cottage there is a combi unit. The kitchen is equipped with a kettle / coffee maker, combi-oven, induction hob and refrigerator. Through the French doors you enter the screened terrace with fantastic views....

The Molenpolder nature reserve consists of elongated dykes and ponds. It thus forms a natural maze where numerous animals feel at home. In addition to common bird species, you will find the Purple Heron, Bittern and Kingfisher. In the area there are many opportunities to enjoy nature. In a canoe you can explore the migration holes and the lake. You can walk around the Maarsseveense plassen (5 km), the Klompenpad through the village of Tienhoven (15 km) or the Bert Bospad (16 km). Furthermore, you can go out by bicycle. Beautiful trips along the Vecht, Loosdrechtse Plassen, the Lage Vuursche and the Hilversum heath. From the boathouse in 15 minutes to reach Maarssen where you can also easily get your groceries. Utrecht is a stone's throw away. Near the boathouse are the Maarsseveense Plassen, here you can also swim (possibly for a fee). At the boathouse itself you can also swim, fishing is not allowed.
