A simple 2 person nature house, backpacker-style, in a beautiful garden of 1.7 ha. Especially recommended for cyclists and hikers who want/come to enjoy the beautiful Westerwolde (Dal van Ruiten-Aa). Enjoy our beautiful garden, simplicity, silence, space, birds and pure darkness. Also very suitable as a retreat. There is (cold) running water, a kettle, a small fridge and a limited amount of crockery and kitchen utensils. As of the 2021 season, there will be cooking facilities in the outdoor kitchen in "The Dining Tent," so there is no need to bring cooking gear. Comforters, pillows and bed linen provided, please bring your own towels. Kerosene heater and electric heater available. - From 1 October no more bookings due to decreasing outside temperature.

The hamlet Kopstukken lies along the edge of the municipality of Westerwolde, a beautiful nature reserve along and around the valley of Ruiten-Aa. Beautiful varied walking and cycling routes (node 39), close to Sellingen, Ter Apel and Bourtange, but also not too far from Borger, Exloo and Drouwen. The area is sparsely populated and therefore you can still experience true silence and darkness here.
